Center for Computation and Computer Visualization: Under UGC Special Assistance and COSIST Programme, Department of Physics has setup Computational laboratories to provide research level facilities to carry out research work. SGI Octane and Windows NT visualization systems, Digital Alpha Workstations and 20 Pentium Desktops available in the department are used for research work in Chaos, Encryption, and Modeling etc. These systems are also made available to MSC (Physics), MCA and Computer Science students for training.

Center for Computer Application: This center was established with the support of the UGC is located in the Arts Faculty of the University. A digital Alpha Computer System for GIS work, Digital Pentium Server and 20 Pentium Desktops in this center are mainly used for training of students and research work.

INFLIBNET Centre: This center was established with the help of the UGC. It is located in the University Central Library. Students and researchers for library work use HCL and Ingram Micro Pentium servers and 10 Pentium desktops.

All the above facilities are available to the MCA and M. Sc (IT) courses offered by the University.

M.Sc IT students are provided with computing facilities SUN/SGI/Digital/Compaq workstations and servers. One Pentium-4 workstation to each student will be reserved in the software laboratory for exclusive use of the student.
